It's Saturday morning and my mind is filled with questions.
Some important,
Others are beyond banal. But I'd love it, if you could answer one, or even some of them.
1) Firstly, dinner tonight, spaghetti carbonara or nachos with mince, avocados and sour cream?
Bear in mind DH makes the spag carb from SCRATCH, so the pasta is fresh and delicious. But my iron levels are a bit low at the moment and I am CRAVING meat, and who doesn't love nachos? Feedback welcome!
2) Which is worse? taking an emergency flight across the world to your dying mother, praying to make it in time, only for her NOT to die and having to come back, knowing she is too frail to live at home and a nursing home is her only option. I can't figure whether is would have been better if Gran had died while my mum was there and she had to chance to mourn her, or this, coming home and knowing that the end is near but that her mother will survive this but her life is going to change so much.
Sorry, a convoluted question, and no real answer.
I can't wait to meet my mum at the airport at cuddle her. Literally, can't wait.
Next question
3) I am thinking about a blog makeover. I think it would be mainly for me and my satisfaction. Danielle did an amazing job on Whispered Support, but I was thinking of having a bash at it myself as her waiting list is a million miles long, and I'm the impatient sort. Can anyone direct or advise me how to DIY?
Vanity thy name is Seraphim
4) I'm not to proud to acknowledge that Carly is largely responsible for a fair share of my reading audience. Thing is, I'd kind of like more readers and to find other interesting/weird/funny blogs to read. Your advice, suggestions about finding other blogs and/or more readers are welcome
Final question
5) I ordered a (very pricey) jacket on the basis that I am back at work now and hell, I deserve it for maintaining my goal weight. But now I feel guilty. Do I cancel the jacket order? Or keep it (and the price tag from my husband?) I think you know how I want you to answer this question!
