Valentine's Day is coming fast, and with it comes leopard print.  I have made a lot of leopard print cookies over the last two years...

Now, if you want to get technical, I really didn't know if this was leopard until yesterday.  To me cheetahs, leopards and jaguars all look the same.  But without telling you way more than you really want to know about the three, it is leopard.  I checked =) and if you really care to know the difference, email me.  I'll tell ya.

As you can see from the photos, this print comes in handy across the board, from birthdays,

To a little bit naughty...especially now that's is closing in on the day of LOVE!

I have two techniques for making leopard print cookies. I usually decide which one to use based on how much time I am working with.

The first method pictured below is wet on dry, and is better for beginners.

{PS-I'm trying something new here tutorial wise, so let me know how you like it.}

The second method is my preferred method, in the event I don't procrastinate too long, but it is a little more advanced.  You need to be pretty familiar with the consistencies of royal icing, and also adept enough to work relatively quickly.

This is the final result...

Also, if you need a little help with zebra, I have a zebra print tutorial also, just click on the photo below to see it =)

I look forward to seeing your "wild" Valentine's Day creations.  Feel free to post them on my Facebook page!  I love to see the work I have inspired =)

Also, while you are on FB, go say hello to my friend Bethany at BCPhotography.  Ya'll have no idea what she has to go through to bring these gorgeous pics to you =-)

Have a wonderful week, everyone, and happy baking!
