I happened to be walking by the new Hummingbird in Wardour Street so I thought since I'm investigating whoopie pies in London I should try one.

The take away box it came in was cute
The Analysis
The filling in the middle was very nice. You could see the vanilla bean. It also tasted different than the cupcake frosting they use. A lot of whoopie pie recipes call for vegetable shortening and I think it tastes horrible.
The cake parts were good. Big and thick. More filling to the amount of cake would have been nice. The cake was a good balance between cookie and cake.
