Vampire Weekend's Rostam Batmanglij had his fun with his Wes Miles (Ra Ra Riot) collaboration Discovery and now it seems he's expanding that fun to Vampire Weekend as well. Synth arpeggios and cut-up vocoder samples galore, this song sounds like a weirded-out b-side that Discovery could have released but it is, in fact, a weirded-out b-side of Vampire Weekend's upcoming Cousins single. Upcoming to those of us who still listen to physical records (who have to wait until 15th Dec) and already available to those of us who just care about the songs and not the medium or the fidelity (I'm not here to judge I'm more than happy to belong to both camps).
