Friday Nature


One of my favorite trees is the Magnolia tree. This one is in my back yard.  There are a lot of these trees around Polk County, which I never notice until I owned one myself.  Most of them are blooming up a storm.  I was a little worried about this one because it had blooms on it but they were not blooming.  Well long and behold we got our first one on Monday!  The only thing that smells better than a Magnolia bloom is my wife.  Enjoy your weekend

beauty breathe




Well we are back and I almost forgotten how to blog.  That is beside the point.  I'll try to blog new works as best I can.  Lots of stuff to share with you guys.  So much has been going on since my last post, don't really know where to start.  We will just start with this Polaroid made last year(2009).  Everybody needs to breathe a little beauty, the only problem is we all have chains that weigh us down.  Lets be thankful for the things we do have and the things that bring us together.  And let us break the chains so our beauty can breathe.......

That Time of the Month Again


Every month I like to post a self-portrait of myself. Since I did not take a picture of mySELF this month, I decided to post a couple of Portraits....of me. These were taken by Van Cannon Kirby. That is a link to one of his MANY blogs. And ladies, I am single and no you can not find my phone number on this blog, but if you bring me Homemade Cookies and Milk, I might just give it to ya. Sorry, I just finished watching Stranger Than Fiction. Very good movie, It was nice to see Will Ferrell in a different role. I hope he does some more in the future.

Wonderful World of Color

Sorry 4 the lack of color in these new Poloaroids. I didn't flatbed scan them....I took Digital pictures of them, hoping to save some time. I think for the long run, at least to have a record of my own, I will need to scan them in. This Polaroid is all about the Tv and how this little box has pretty much changed our lives, I think more than any other invention. I can't think of anything else that has had such a great impact on our culture than the Tv............can U?
