I like a good project I can get stuck into. Actually, to be completely truthful I like a good project I can get other people to get stuck into ;)
I saw this the other day in one of those gorgeous "Better Homes and Garden" magazines and haven't been able to stop thinking about it.

I don't possess a green thumb. My parents can't understand it. They're AMAZING gardeners. I'm talking Italian garden style. Which is weird as they aren't Italian.
We only have a small front garden but a fair bit of wall out the back.
So I'm thinking about it. A small scale version obviously. I like the idea of the kids getting out there with a little watering can and tending to the plants (see my delegating abilities right there?)
Obviously we couldn't put the pots up too high and it would need lots of sunlight. But the idea of a garden, that isn't really a garden is wildly appealing. It's also probably pretty inexpensive which is always a win.
Would you do it? If you have a green thumb plant suggestions are gratefully received.
