Greg Peters here from product development for Netflix. We have some great news to share with our U.S. and Canada members. Netflix members in Canada can now instantly watch thousands of movies and TV shows streamed from Netflix to the TV via the Xbox 360. All you need is a Netflix membership, a broadband internet connection and an Xbox LIVE Gold membership. All Netflix members will be able to search for TV shows and movies from their Xbox 360, making it even easier to find something to watch.
Netflix members in both the U.S. and Canada also now have the ability to instantly watch TV shows and movies on their Windows Phone 7 handsets. The application is available in the Marketplace and is free.
Enjoy!

Today Steve Jobs unveiled the new second-generation Apple TV, which includes streaming instantly from Netflix at no additional charge to Netflix members.
This is the third significant announcement this year about a Netflix collaboration with Apple. First came the introduction in April of a Netflix app for iPad, which was followed a few weeks ago by an app for iPhone and iPod touch. We couldn’t be more pleased than to be in partnership with Apple to enable you to instantly watch movies and TV shows from Netflix on these groundbreaking devices.
Of course, we’re continuing to work on more devices and platforms to reach our goal of being ubiquitous on every screen on which you’d want to watch movies and TV episodes streamed instantly from Netflix.
The new Apple TV brings this goal even closer.
Enjoy!
