Here he is. Cilnia humeralis, male, adult. He's looking sorta greenish now.
And he has full-length wings.
The regenerated foot
Some long antennas
So now that I have an adult pair of these things, the question comes to mind, can I breed them? I looked online for information, and what I found isn't very encouraging. This species can be tricky to mate. The male is more likely to be eaten than in some other species. So even though he had to overcome a lot to get to this point, he could still end up like this guy. But somehow, I think even that would be better for him than a life of unfulfilled bachelorhood. Well, I have a little time to think about it.
